Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Al-Istiqlaliyah berdiri sejak tahun 1957 M. Didirikan oleh seorang ulama besar di wilayah Kabupaten Tangerang, bernama KH. Dimiyati (almarhum). Merupakan seorang ulama yang memiliki komitmen kuat dalam menjaga tradisi kepesantrenan yang saat ini juga dilanjutkan oleh putra beliau, KH. Uci Turtusi sejak sepeninggalnya di awal tahun 2001.
KH. Uci Turtusi (Abah atau Abuya Uci) adalah tokoh ulama besar yang sangat dihormati dan disegani oleh semua kalangan masyarakat, beliau sangat berjasa besar karena telah mengharumkan bangsa Indonesia terutama kota Tangerang-Banten. Dengan ke istimewaan dan karomah yang diberikan Allah SWT kepada KH. Uci Turtusi, hati umat islam merasa rindu untuk bertemu dan silaturahmi dengan sosok sang ulama ini, dengan kepiawaiannya menyampaikan dan mengajarkan ilmu agama dengan ikhlas, sehingga tausiyah yang disampaikan sangat jelas dan mudah dipahami oleh para jamaah.

Pondok Pesantren Al-Istiqlaliyah Salafiyah stood since 1957 AD It was founded by a great scholar in the Tangerang region, called KH. Dimiyati (deceased). Is a scholar who has a strong commitment to maintaining a uniquely pesantren tradition that today is continued by his son, KH. Uci Turtusi since after his death in early 2001.
KH. Uci Turtusi (Abah or Abuya Uci) is a great cleric highly respected and admired by all the community, he was very instrumental because had it the Indonesian people, especially the city of Tangerang, Banten. With all istimewaan and intercession given by God Almighty to KH. Uci Turtusi, the hearts of Muslims felt longing to meet and relationship with the figure of the cleric, with his ability to convey and teach the science of religion with sincerity, so tausiyah delivered a very clear and easily understood by the pilgrims.
